About Us

The Mercer-Lunsford Basketball League was founded in 2004 as the Mercer Basketball League and has evolved into the premiere youth basketball program in Loudoun County. We are proud of our program and the volunteers that make is possible. MLBL produces great basketball teams, and promotes sportsmanship on and off the court.

MLBL is a nonprofit organization run by volunteers from the local community. We are an independant organization sanctioned by Loudoun County PRCS and work closely with them  to develop our policies and procedures and to schedule and maintain gyms.

Mission Statement

The mission of MLBL is to provide the youth of Dulles South an opportunity to learn good sportsmanship, teamwork, develop self confidence and respect for self and others in a healthy and safe environent.

MLBL strives to teach the kids the fundamentals of basketball while developing progressively stronger physical skills to field well organized and competitive team environment.

MLBL instills the importance for our kids to be a role model for other teams by demonstrating the highest level of sporstmanship both on and off the court.
